After a brief shore leave on Earth, Lieutenant Gemini Inova and Petty Officer Hudson Rowlett return to the USS Enterprise with the news of their engagement. Doctor Beverly Crusher returns to the Enterprise with renowned scientist Giorgio Hayward who comes with a new discovery in tow. But when the Enterprise is given a mission to extricate an isolated colony of Klingons from a remote planet before it is razed, Captain Picard must use all available resources in hopes of being successful.

Story Notes

Because I can't just stop at *one* Star Trek crossover... and why not do a Klingon-themed episode?

As with my Doctor Who fanfiction, The Gemini Archives, I did my best to fit everything within the realm of Star Trek while adding my own characters and concepts, but it may not be 100% accurate for the big Trekkies out there. Hopefully it's at least an enjoyable read!

"Star Trek: Metamorphosis" is for young adult readers and above and (aside from one Klingon swear) contains no swearing or suggestive content. There is one scene of fighting/mild violence but nothing is too descriptive.
