Ensign Gallagher, an up and coming crewman on the Enterprise, is chosen for a mission to get closer to a notorious criminal by attending a high-security–and even higher-stakes–poker competition. Meanwhile, the mysterious being Q finds curiosity in Lieutenant Gemini, thinking her life in Starfleet is far too mundane for an Aravasti. Through each one’s discoveries, they are forced to look beyond their past, recognize their similarities, and rediscover what it truly means to be ‘home’.

Because I can't just stop at *two* Star Trek crossovers when I need a Q episode...

As with my Doctor Who fanfiction, The Gemini Archives, I did my best to fit everything within the realm of Star Trek while adding my own characters and concepts, but it may not be 100% accurate for the big Trekkies out there. Hopefully it's at least an enjoyable read!
