Ensign Gallagher, an up and coming crewman on the Enterprise, is chosen for a mission to get closer to a notorious criminal by attending a high-security–and even higher-stakes–poker competition. Meanwhile, the mysterious being Q finds curiosity in Lieutenant Gemini, thinking her life in Starfleet is far too mundane for an Aravasti. As with my Doctor Who fanfiction, The Gemini Archives, I did my best to fit everything within the realm of Star Trek while adding my own characters and concepts, but it may not be 100% accurate for the big Trekkies out there. Hopefully it's at least an enjoyable read!
