I sometimes forget how far Diana has come; she was born in the winter, was trained for a war across space and time as a teenager, fell in and out of love, experienced a traumatic loss, and crash landed onto an alien planet in hopes she wouldn't survive.

But it was there she rose from the ashes, found friends and allies, married a caring husband, and, in time, gave birth to their first daughter.

And Avalyn was born in the winter.

The moment I heard this song I knew that's where Diana's story was going :)

Avalyn ("a" like apple) is both human and Ivian, though her Ivian traits are the more dominant in her appearance.
