Spoiler alert! ...not that The Tale of Ace Gallagher is going to be posted anytime soon at the rate I am able to work on it...

The next generations of Guardians are found within Ace Gallagher's friends (and relatives) when The Phoenix hands the pendant of his power to Vance Edwards (instead of a member of his family - more on that later). The power of The Sentinel is less of a choice; it awakens in one deemed worthy to carry its power. And there's no one more of a protector than James Harley. They take to their roles well, ushering the dying in peace and protecting those who are in need of help. And they look really snazzy while doing it.
