This was painted for a texture assignment in my acrylic painting class at Hardin-Simmons University. I used a gel medium and pure globs of paint to create a fiery raven on an abstract background. We even had to build and stretch our own canvas in this class!

Out of all of my art school painings, this is my favorite.
